Welcome to the Central District Girls Softball (CDGS) registration page for the Spring/Summer 2026 season! Please review the following information carefully to ensure a smooth registration process for your player.

Players league age 8 and older must meet residency eligibility guidelines to play with CDGS. To qualify:

If you fall outside of the league boundaries but would like to play with CDGS, please contact the CDGS Player Agent at [email protected] to discuss potential waivers or exceptions.

 

Players league age 4-7 may register in any Little League program of their choice, without respect to geographic or school-based eligibility requirements.

Little League uses "League Age" to determine division eligibility. Your player’s "League Age" is their age as of January 1, 2026. Use the following tool to calculate your player’s League Age:

To complete registration, every player must provide the following:

CDGS is a 100% volunteer-run organization, which means that beyond registration fees, we rely heavily on the support of our families to operate the league smoothly. We are not backed by any outside organization or park district so your involvement helps keep fees affordable and fosters a stronger sense of community within our league.

 

 

To ensure fairness and accountability, we will track hours using SignUp Genius. There are many opportunities to fulfill your hours:

 

 

The Volunteer Security Deposit will be paid in the form of a postdated check for $150 dated 6/30/2026. Once the obligation is met, you will receive notification that your hours are complete, and your check will be destroyed. If you wish to have your check returned to you, please indicate that on the Volunteer Form. If you prefer to not volunteer, you may indicate so on the form and your check will be immediately deposited (you cannot provide a postdated check with this option). You will receive a copy of the volunteer form in your registration confirmation and you may either bring the form along with the check to uniform pick up or it can be mail to CDGS at 202 S Randall Rd Unit B #5304 Elgin, IL 60123.
