Minor B Softball Division: The Minor B Division is designed for girls ages 6 to 9 who are ready to take the next step in their softball journey. This division focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive, and instructional environment.
Who Plays in Minor B? 6-year-olds: Girls with at least one year of T-Ball experience 7-8-year-olds: Players building their skills and game knowledge 9-year-olds: Girls new to softball or those needing additional development before moving to the Minor A Division.
What Can You Expect?
Game Structure: A game schedule emphasizing skill-building over competition—no scores or standings are kept. There are no umpires. Games have a 1 hour and 45-minute time limit. Each player must play the infield at least once a game. Minor B utilizes an 11 inch softball.
Rules That Focus on Learning: A mix of coach and player pitching, gradually transitioning as the season progresses. Coaches are on the field to guide and encourage players. No bunting, stealing, or walks—just a focus on learning the basics.
