2025 Spring/Summer Little League

Welcome to the Central District Girls Softball (CDGS) registration page for the Spring/Summer 2025 season! Please review the following information carefully to ensure a smooth registration process for your player.

Player Divisions & Registration

Under each division below, you will find a "Show Details" drop-down. Click this to view detailed information about the division and register your player accordingly.

Draft and Team Assignments

A player draft will take place at the end of March to finalize team rosters.
Team assignments will be communicated to families during the last week of March.

Eligibility Guidelines

Residency Requirements

Players league age 8 and older must meet residency eligibility guidelines to play with CDGS. To qualify:

Your home address or the school your player attends must fall within CDGS league boundaries.

If you fall outside of the league boundaries but would like to play with CDGS, please contact the CDGS Player Agent at [email protected] to discuss potential waivers or exceptions.

League Age 4-7 Eligibility

Players league age 4-7 may register in any Little League program of their choice, without respect to geographic or school-based eligibility requirements.

If an older sibling (league age 8 or older) has a younger sibling (league age 4-7) who has chosen a League of Choice, the older sibling is also eligible to join that league.

Player Age

Little League uses "League Age" to determine division eligibility. Your player’s "League Age" is their age as of January 1, 2025. Use the following tool to calculate your player’s League Age:

Required Documentation

To complete registration, every player must provide the following:

Proof of Age: A copy of the player's birth certificate.
Proof of Residency:

Submit a School Enrollment Form or Proof of Residency documentation (utility bills, driver’s license, etc.).

Documents can be emailed to the CDGS Player Agent at [email protected] or brought to your first practice.

Uniforms

CDGS will provide:

Jersey
Softball socks
One piece of headgear (TBD)
CDGS Car Sticker

Player Responsibility:

Black softball pants (required).
Black belts (optional).

Volunteer Requirement – 10 Hours

CDGS thrives because of the incredible support of our volunteers! To ensure a successful season for all players and families, each family is asked to commit to 10 volunteer hours or pay a $300 opt-out fee during registration.

How It Works:

Volunteer opportunities will be listed during the registration process, allowing you to choose roles that fit your schedule and interests. Specific times and volunteer needs will be announced when the season begins.
Families can fulfill hours by participating in activities such as field setup and cleanup, working the Snack Shack, assisting at events, open Board Member positions or other league needs.

Open Board Member Positions:

We are also seeking individuals to fill open board positions. These roles are critical to the success of CDGS and are a great way to make a lasting impact on the league. Board members are eligible for volunteer hour waivers.
